Dr. Alex Castillas, a war-torn state epidemiologist, finds herself stranded in Damonburg, Pennsylvania, after a storm traps her in the isolated mountain town. Called to investigate a mysterious disease outbreak, Alex is cut off from the outside world with no supplies, no phone, and no escape. A pregnant young woman, left in her care, suffers under the moonlight, her condition worsening with each passing hour.
